1. Introduction

Boult Audio Limited stands behind the quality of all its audio technology products. This Warranty Policy sets out the terms of the commercial warranty we provide to consumers purchasing products directly from our website. This warranty is in addition to and does not limit your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and other applicable UK legislation.

2. Scope of Warranty

All audio technology products sold by Boult Audio Limited directly to consumers via our website are covered by our standard warranty from the date of original purchase, for the duration specified in Section 3.

This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship arising under normal use. It applies to the original purchaser and is non-transferable unless expressly stated.

3. Warranty Duration by Product Category

  • True wireless earbuds and in-ear monitors: 1 year;
  • Wired headphones and earphones: 1 year;
  • Portable Bluetooth speakers: 1 years;
  • Audio accessories (cables, cases, adapters): 6 months;
  • Charging cases and accessories supplied with earbuds: 1 year (matching the primary product).

Battery components are covered for 1 year or the first 500 charge cycles, whichever comes first, subject to normal degradation exclusions.

5. What the Warranty Does Not Cover

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear, including foam ear pad degradation and cable wear;
  • Battery capacity degradation (below 80% capacity after 500 charge cycles is considered normal);
  • Damage caused by third-party accessories or unofficial charging equipment;
  • Products where the serial number has been removed, altered, or defaced;
  • Consumables such as ear tips, ear pads, or cleaning cloths.

To make a warranty claim, please:

  1. Contact our customer support team at care@goboult.co.uk with the subject line 'Warranty Claim – [Order Number]';
  2. Provide your full name, order number, date of purchase, and a description of the defect;
  3. Include photographs or a short video demonstrating the defect where possible;
  4. Retain your original product packaging and proof of purchase.

We will acknowledge your claim within 2 working days and advise you on the next steps.

7. Warranty Remedies

Upon confirming a valid warranty claim, at our sole discretion we will offer one of the following:

  • Repair of the defective product;
  • Replacement with an identical or equivalent product (where the original is no longer available); or
  • A full or partial refund, where repair or replacement is not possible or proportionate.

Where a repair is not feasible within a reasonable time or without significant inconvenience to you, we will offer a replacement or refund. We will cover the cost of shipping for warranty repairs and replacements.

8. Statutory Rights

This commercial warranty does not affect your statutory rights as a UK consumer. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If goods do not meet these requirements, you may have a right to a repair, replacement, or refund from us regardless of this warranty.

If you are unsure whether your rights arise under this warranty or under statute, please contact us and we will advise you accordingly.

9. International Customers

This warranty policy applies to products purchased directly from our UK website for delivery within the United Kingdom. Customers in other jurisdictions should refer to the applicable local warranty terms or contact us for further information.
