User Agreement
Dear User,
Thank you for choosing GoBoult (Boult Audio Limited) products and services. This User Agreement (“Agreement”) governs your use of the GoBoult companion application (“Amp App” or “App”), including features related to TWS earbuds connectivity, device management, account login, and related services.
Please read this Agreement carefully before registering, logging in, or using the App. By clicking “Accept,” registering an account, logging into the App, downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by this Agreement.
If you do not agree with any part of this Agreement, please do not use the App.
To improve the user experience and provide better services, GoBoult may analyze limited usage and device-related information in accordance with applicable laws and our Privacy Policy.
1. Service Content
1.1 About the App
The GoBoult Amp App is a companion application designed for GoBoult TWS earbuds and related audio products. The App allows users to:
- Connect and manage supported GoBoult devices
- Configure device settings and preferences
- Access firmware updates and product-related features
- View product information and support content
1.2 Service Availability
The specific features and services provided by the App may change, be updated, suspended, or discontinued from time to time based on operational, technical, or legal requirements.
1.3 New Features and Updates
Any new features, updates, enhancements, or services introduced in the App shall also be governed by this Agreement unless otherwise stated.
1.4 Internet and Device Requirements
The App requires compatible mobile devices and internet connectivity. Users are responsible for all charges related to internet access, mobile data usage, and device compatibility.
2. Information We Collect
To provide login, authentication, and device-related services, the App may collect and process the following information:
2.1 Account Information
When you register or log into the App, we may collect:
- Mobile phone number
- Email address
This information is used solely for user registration, login and authentication, account security, and customer support and communication.
2.2 Device Information
To enable proper operation of connected GoBoult devices, we may collect:
- Device ID or device identifiers associated with your mobile device
- Information about connected GoBoult earbuds/devices
- App version and basic diagnostic information
This information is used to identify devices paired with the App, enable device connectivity and synchronization, improve product functionality and performance, and troubleshoot technical issues.
2.3 Limited Usage Analytics
The App may collect limited technical and usage analytics to improve stability, performance, and user experience. Such information does not include personal conversations, media files, or unrelated personal content from your device.
3. User Account and Usage Rules
3.1 Account Registration
Users may register and log into the App using a mobile phone number or email address. Users are responsible for providing accurate and complete information during registration.
3.2 Account Security
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of their account credentials. GoBoult shall not be liable for losses resulting from unauthorized access caused by user negligence. If you suspect unauthorized use of your account, you must immediately update your credentials and contact customer support.
3.3 Acceptable Use
Users agree not to:
- Use the App for unlawful or fraudulent activities
- Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the App
- Attempt unauthorized access to systems or accounts
- Reverse engineer, copy, or misuse the App or its services
- Upload or distribute harmful, abusive, defamatory, or illegal content
3.4 Suspension or Termination
GoBoult reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the App if a user violates this Agreement or applicable laws.
4. Privacy and Data Protection
4.1 Data Usage
The information collected by the App is used only for authentication and account management, device pairing and management, service improvement and technical support, and security and fraud prevention.
4.2 Data Protection
Boult Audio Limited (trading as GoBoult) is the Data Controller for personal data processed through the App. We process your personal data in compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Our lawful bases for processing are: (a) performance of a contract with you (account registration and device management); (b) our legitimate interests in improving our services and ensuring security; and (c) your consent, where required. We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure.
4.3 Third-Party Services
The App may use third-party analytics or support services to improve functionality and stability. Such services may process limited technical information as required for service operation. Please refer to the GoBoult Privacy Policy for detailed information regarding data handling practices.
4.4 Your Rights Under UK GDPR
Under the UK GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right of access – to obtain a copy of the personal data we hold about you (Subject Access Request);
- Right to rectification – to correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data;
- Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”) – to request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention obligations;
- Right to restrict processing – to limit how we use your personal data in certain circumstances;
- Right to data portability – to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format;
- Right to object – to object to processing based on our legitimate interests;
- Right to withdraw consent – where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
To exercise any of the above rights, please contact our Data Protection team at care@goboult.co.uk. We will respond within one calendar month as required by UK GDPR. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at www.ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113.
4.5 Data Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by applicable law. Account data is retained for the duration of your account and for a period of up to 6 years following account closure for legal and audit purposes, in accordance with UK statutory requirements.
4.6 International Data Transfers
Where personal data is transferred outside the United Kingdom, Boult Audio Limited will ensure that adequate safeguards are in place as required by UK GDPR.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
5.1 Ownership
All rights, titles, and interests related to the App, including but not limited to logos, trademarks, designs, software, product content, images and graphics, are owned by GoBoult (Boult Audio Limited) or its licensors and are protected under applicable intellectual property laws.
5.2 Restrictions
Users may not copy, distribute, modify, reproduce, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the App or its content without prior written permission from GoBoult.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
6.1 Service Availability
The App and related services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. GoBoult does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure operation of the App.
6.2 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GoBoult shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages, data loss, service interruptions, device compatibility issues, or unauthorized account access resulting from user negligence.
Nothing in this Agreement excludes or limits GoBoult’s liability for: (a) death or personal injury caused by its negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; (c) any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other applicable UK law. Where you are a consumer, your statutory rights are not affected by this Agreement.
7. Changes to this Agreement
Boult Audio Limited (trading as GoBoult) may update or modify this Agreement from time to time. Where changes are material, we will provide you with at least 30 days’ prior written notice via the App or by email to the address associated with your account. Non-material changes (such as corrections or clarifications) may take effect immediately upon posting within the App.
If you do not agree with a material change, you have the right to terminate your account and discontinue use of the App before the change takes effect. Continued use of the App after the effective date of a change constitutes your acceptance of the updated Agreement.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Agreement and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The parties irrevocably agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising under or in connection with this Agreement, subject to any mandatory rights you may have under the law of your country of residence as a consumer.
Boult Audio Limited is registered and operates in India; however, for UK users, our data processing activities are subject to the oversight of the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK’s supervisory authority for data protection.
